Montreal-based Alison Silcoff received two awards at the recent Special Events Magazine International Gala Awards in Dallas. Silcoff won both for the 2005 Daffodil Ball benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society. Another winner was producer Michael Caplan of Sensix Communications and Events, who won for best entertainment concept and execution for the FINA Welcome Dinner of the 2005 World Aquatic Championships.
